Our Apprenticeship Scheme launched in February 2012 and the successful candidates have now been chosen and will start their 12 month placements with us in June 2012. During this period the HBP Apprentices will work for 3 months in each of the Marketing, Finance, IT Support and Software Support departments and will be working towards full time employment with us.

The successful candidates were selected at the HBP Systems Apprenticeship Open Morning on 28th February 2012 where 25 applicants took part in a team exercise, Microsoft tests and got the chance to meet HBP staff members from each department before choosing their preferred roles on the scheme. This year the available positions included the HBP Apprenticeship role (3 months in each department), a position in our finance department and a software development apprenticeship role.
We were also joined by David White, a marketing and branding expert from The Host Agency, who ran the team exercise, as well as representatives from local training providers SouthBank Training Ltd and NLT.
The next Apprenticeship Scheme will be begin in the summer of 2013 and an Open Morning will be held in February/March 2013 where interested students will get the chance to apply.
