HBP Systems Group plc of Scunthorpe has reported an excellent response from throughout the country to its electronic point of sale (EPOS) solutions.
Ken Newlove, who is EPOS business development manager with the group, said that retailers large and small and both single site and multi-site, as well as charity organisations and visitor attractions, were now using the system provided my HBP.
Customers include national operations Powerhouse Fitness and and Dominoes Toys as well as, in this region, Dove House Hospice in Hull, shops across the area, and York Museums Trust, which has 4 sites in the York area.
The systems can be customised to particular users, for retail, trade and other environments.
Mr Newlove said: "More than 60 clients are now using the system and, following the success of the system over the last year, we are now looking to promote it more widely in the local area.
Although we have a client base of large companies we now want to market it locally to single user outlets."

For £40 a week the small retailer can benefit from technology enjoyed by large organisations and get a fully integrated system from a local supplier, complete with local back-up on the doorstop.
Mr Newlove has worked in the retail industry since 1980 and joined HBP eight years ago to develop the EPOS system.
He said: "People can purchase from us a fully integrated shopping cart all as one system, ensuring they can trade both on the internet and through their stores."
He added: "The strength of our solution is that it is one integrated system, offering EPOS, internet trading stock control and accounting, all from one solution without manual intervention."
