HBP Systems Is A Double Finalist At The UK IT Industry Awards

We have been shortlisted for two separate categories at the largest business technology awards in the country. HBP Systems is a finalist for Best Place To Work in IT and Tony Pearson is one of four nominees for Operational Leader.

Our Managing Director, Joanne Dixon, is absolutely thrilled at this recognition, especially as her company strategy over the last few years has heavily focused on employee wellbeing.

She says: “To be nationally acknowledged for this is an incredible feeling. Most importantly, the hard work I’ve dedicated to making HBP the best place to work it could possibly be has paid off for my staff, who I respect and cherish so much. It couldn’t be a bigger incentive to continue increasing the career opportunities we offer IT talent in our area.”

Joanne’s colleague of over 20-years and our current Operations Director, Tony Pearson, has also been singled out by us and the prestigious awards for Personal Excellence.

How does Tony feel about being one of four finalists for the countries top Operational Leader in IT? “Shocked! No one even told me I was being entered. The first I knew of it was when the finalists were announced.”

Nominating Tony for this prestigious and career-defining award was our way of thanking him for everything he does for the company, his colleagues and the IT industry.

Having joined HBP in 1998 as an Installations Engineer, by 2007 Tony was promoted to Operations Director. His core responsibilities focus on developing, executing and managing company strategy. One of Tony’s most significant contributions to HBP and our team is his work towards our 12-year Microsoft Gold Partnership status, which has reaped countless benefits for his colleagues and our customers.

The prestigious award ceremony will take place in London on Wednesday, 13th November and will bring together the top IT talent from across the country.

We will be proud to be among them.
