Sage 200 version 2011 – End of Life Reminder

We would like to remind all Sage 200 users who are currently on the 2011 version of the software that extended support will begin at the end of October 2016 – this means that patches, service packs and legislation updates will no longer be released for this version of Sage 200.

After this date only technical support will be offered by Sage and even this level of support will end on 31st October 2017.

We would strongly advise that 2011 version users look to upgrade their systems to the latest version of Sage 200 as soon as possible to avoid any issues with their system.

How do I know which version I am on?

You can find out which version of Sage 200 you are using by going to the “Help>About Sage 200” menu options.

If you see a version number between 8.00.0011 and 8.00.0017 then you are using Sage 200 v2011. If the number precedes this, then you are using an even older (and unsupported) version of Sage 200. Any later versions (2013 onwards) will have higher numbers.

How do I upgrade?

The process is reasonably straight forward and requires one of our Sage 200 support technicians to carry out the upgrade. The complexity of your system, and whether or not you have any bespoke functionality which needs adapting, will affect the amount of time you need to purchase to carry out the upgrade, although the software upgrade itself is free.

To find out more about the upgrade process please contact us on our main number or speak to your account manager.
