Credit Controller

The Role

Responsible for the credit control function for 2 companies within the HBP Group, you will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring timely collection of all payments due from our customers. This role will see you communicating across all levels, both internally and externally, and working closely with the Operations Team to ensure efficiency in your role. You will maintain a steadfast and tenacious attitude, along with customer details and keeping up to date records to ensure swift resolution of sales invoice queries.

The Skills

  • Figure, Client and Service minded
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Have accuracy, with a strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic accountancy principles
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Robust troubleshooting and strong analytical skills with problem solving ability
  • Ability to operate in extreme high-pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities
  • Have great verbal, listening and written communication, as well as relationship and rapport building skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, understanding that the customer is at the forefront of everything we do

The Desirables

  • Time spent in a Credit Controller based role, minimum 2 years
  • Strong administrational experience demonstrating requirements for accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • AAT level 2 or above
