In this role you’ll be pivotal to the success of our Sage installations, liaising with our internal sales team and our customers to manage their expectations and implement changes to their businesses.

Sage 200 Implementation Consultant

The Role

The Sage team are responsible for the consultation and implementation of Sage 200 Business Software to new and existing customers. This role involves management of the entire implementation cycle as well as supporting the customer from design through to go-live. Managing customer expectations and experience, plus communicating excellently both internally and externally is paramount to successfully and effectively managing projects.

Main Tasks

  • Project documentation to be completed and signed as required
  • Site visits to be conducted in line with project requirements
  • Product training and consultancy
  • Product installation and setup
  • Customer training and Guidance
  • Data manipulation and testing
  • Customer Go Live support
  • Project and customer management
  • Support & Project handovers / assistance
  • Sales / Pre-sales assistance
  • Date co-ordination and scheduling
  • Support cover when required within company standards
  • Customer updates and call management
  • Helpdesk information population and maintenance
  • Product and industry change investigation and communication
  • Continued development and training
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Ensure helpdesk ticket updated and are details and concise
  • Ensure communication methods are correct
  • Supplier/ contractor liaison for tickets, issues and version updates
  • Attend team meetings
  • Follow lead logging for any customer / prospect leads generated
  • Site champion maintenance
  • Help sheet and KB knowledge base population
  • Project system updates

Responsibilities

  • Training material and resources to be maintained and updated
  • Project documentation to be completed and signed as required
  • Help Sheet and Knowledge Base population
  • Managing customer expectation
  • Confirmation of time required for project and resources required
  • Projects to run within given times and deadlines
  • Leading a project from start to completion
  • Liaising with 3rd Parties in line with project requirements
  • Meet operational targets for response, resolution and updates
  • Continual training and improvements
  • Monitor and maintain supplier logs and updates
  • Helpdesk ticket management and logging
  • Ensure customers are continually updated with the required communication method
  • Follow complaint & escalation process / procedure
  • Customer information maintenance
  • Industry & Product awareness and effects
  • Team communication
  • Maintain excellent communication and feedback
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Project Co-ordinator liaison and project timely updates

Qualifications (Required)

  • AAT Level 2 qualification or above / Equivalent experience
  • Product qualified Sage 200

Knowledge & Experience (Required)

  • A passion for continual development
  • Strong IT Skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Project Management accreditation / equivalent experience
