Joanne Dixon Wins Twice At The Hull & Humber Tech Awards

Our inspiring Managing Director, Joanne Dixon, has won the Woman in Tech and Leadership in Tech accolades at this year’s Hull and Humber Tech Awards.

Organised by KCOM and Hull Live, the annual ceremony celebrates the region’s top technology talent, and HBP Systems was delighted to just be shortlisted for three awards.

When the finalists were announced, as well as being thrilled for Joanne’s Woman In Tech nomination and our Marketing Department’s Tech Team shortlisting, it was revealed that Joanne was in the running for Leadership In Tech. This was a closed category, which the judges selected themselves.

We’re Extremely Proud Of Joanna

The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, 2nd October 2019, and to the joy of everyone at the company, Joanne came away the winner of both the categories she was entered in, despite the tough and talented competition.

HBP Systems couldn’t be happier and prouder of Joanne’s awards and that her hard work has received this acknowledgement. Joanne has dedicated her career to HBP Systems since 1992, and our tremendous growth would not have been possible without her.
